Every figure here is read from the company's own filings.
Annual reports come from SEC EDGAR, and interest rates from the Bank of Canada and the Federal Reserve. All of it is public record — free to anyone who asks for it, and not something a vendor can take away. The one thing a filing never contains is a share price, so you bring that from wherever you already check it. That is what keeps Travis Valuation free to use: no account, no card, nothing to cancel. Politicians
Stock trades disclosed by members of the U.S. House under the STOCK Act, read from the Periodic Transaction Reports published by the Clerk of the House — the primary record, not a data vendor. Only members who have disclosed at least one trade in a stock appear here, and amounts are the bucketed ranges disclosure law requires, never exact figures.
House only. The Senate publishes through its own disclosure search, which refuses automated requests and offers no open index, so there is no equivalent record to read. A small number of House reports are filed as scanned images with no text layer; those cannot be read automatically and are skipped rather than guessed at.
Big Trades
Every disclosed trade above a dollar threshold, across every politician tracked, sorted biggest-first — skip checking each politician one by one.
